The foreigners currently staying in Bangladesh will be able to extend their visa period for three months, Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen said amid a worldwide ban on flights triggered by the novel coronavirus.
The minister also added that initiatives will be taken for Bangladeshis who remain abroad.
Momen made the remark during a meeting with foreign diplomats at state guest house Padma in the capital today.
He also briefed the foreign participants about the precautionary measures the country has taken to fight coronavirus.
