Biman Bangladesh Airlines has withdrawn its decision to resume flights on Dubai and Abu Dhabi routes that were scheduled to be operated between July 6 and 16.

The state-owned airlines made the declaration a day before the flights' scheduled resumption.

"These flights have been suspended due to unavoidable reasons," read a press release issued by Tahera Khandaker, deputy general manager for public relations at Biman Bangladesh Airlines.

However, special arrangements will be made by the aviation authorities for the passengers who booked for the Dubai-bound flights, read the press release.

Concerned passengers will be informed about this through SMS and telephone.
