Biman gets new managing director

The government has appointed Dr Abu Saleh Mostafa Kamal as the new Managing Director and CEO of Biman Bangladesh Airlines under the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism.

Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification on Monday in this connection.

The notification was signed by Deputy Secretary Md Abul Kalam Azad as per the order of President Abdul Hamid.

Dr Abu Saleh Mostafa Kamal will take place of Md Mokabbir Hossain, managing director & CEO, who has also been posted to the land ministry as the Chairman (Secretary) of the Land Appeal Board. A gazette notification signed by Deputy Secretary Muhammad Abdul Latif made the disclosure about his transfer.

Bangladesh Agriculture Development Corporation (BADC) Chairman Md Sayedul Islam has also been promoted to the position of Women and Children Affairs Secretary through the same gazette notification.
