BAPA gets new committee

Capt Mahbubur Rahman has been elected as the president and Capt Rezwan Islam as the vice president

Bangladesh Airline Pilots' Association (BAPA) recently elected its new committee with Capt Mahbubur Rahman as the president and Capt Rezwan Islam as the vice president to lead the organisation for two years.

The election took place from 7 to 21 January 2021, reads a press release on Monday. The members of the organisation exercised their right to vote through secret ballot.

The organisation elected Capt Syed Nazmul Hasan as its general secretary, First Officer Saadat Jamil as joint secretary (admin), Capt Nawshad A Qaiyum, joint secretary (ops), Captain Mukassit Hossain as treasurer.

Moreover, Capt Ahmed Imran, First Officer Muntasir Mahbub, First Officer Md Solaiman, were elected as the executive members.
