8 chartered flights to bring back Bangladeshis from India
Bangladesh Foreign Ministry had said earlier that nearly 2500 Bangladeshi citizens including 1000 students are currently stranded in India due to coronavirus outbreak
Bangladesh will operate eight charter flights to bring back its citizens stranded in India due to pandemic lockdown.
The private US-Bangla airlines on Friday announced that it will operate these eight special flights on Chennai-Dhaka and Kolkata-Dhaka routes between April 20-25 to bring back over 1000 Bangladeshi citizens from India.
The airlines will operate six chartered flights on Chennai to Dhaka route starting from 20 April till 25 April and will take off from Chennai airport at 12:15pm.
Two chartered flights on Kolkata to Dhaka route will take off at 11:30am on April 21 and 23.
Earlier, the Foreign Ministry of Bangladesh had said that nearly 2500 Bangladeshi citizens including 1000 students are currently were stranded in India due to coronavirus outbreak.
