Ali Reza Iftekhar again to lead Association of Bankers, Bangladesh

Before this, Ali Reza Iftekhar had been elected as the chairman of this forum for the session 2014-15
Ali Reza Iftekhar, managing director (MD) and chief executive officer (CEO) of Eastern Bank Limited, has been elected as the chairman of the Association of Bankers, Bangladesh (ABB) for the session 2020-21.
The forum of the managing directors of private commercial banks has also elected Prime Bank MD and CEO Rahel Ahmed as its secretary general.
On Saturday, annual general meeting of the association members was held to elect the next executive committee for the two-year tenure.
Before this, Ali Reza Iftekhar had been elected as the chairman of this forum for the session 2014-15.
Iftekhar, with more than 30 years of experience in banking, has worked in both foreign and local private banks.
