300 army personnel on way to Satkhira coast

Three hundred Bangladesh Army personnel are on their way to Shyamnagar upazila in Satkhira to help people in coastal areas when cyclone Bulbul makes landfall.

The team, led by Major Jahangir, had crossed Satkhira district at around 5pm on Saturday.

Shyamnagar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) told The Business Standard that the army personnel are going to help people living in Gabura, Padmapukur, Burigowalini union of the district.
