WHO sending team to China to research 'how the virus started'

The World Health Organisation (WHO) is finally sending a team to China to understand how Covid-19 started.
"Knowing the source of the virus is very, very important," WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said during a briefing on June 29, reports CNN.
"We can find the virus better when we know everything about the virus, including how it started," he added.
"We will be sending a team next week to China to prepare for that," he said.
Tedros said he hopes the visit will lead to "understanding how the virus started and what we can do for the future to prepare."
Global Covid-19 cases crossed the 10-million mark on June 28 according to a Reuters tally, marking a major milestone in the spread of the respiratory disease that has so far killed almost half a million people in seven months.
