Saudi Arabia has allowed residents of all nationalities to register for the repatriation service "Awdah" (i.e. return) which allows people with valid visas to travel back to their home lands if they wish.
The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHaP) and the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) in a joint announcement also stated that people over the age of 60 and children younger than 12 are prohibited from entering shopping malls, cooperative societies, and supermarkets, Khaleej Times.
Saudi Arabia has also been operating many repatriation flights to bring back Saudi nationals from all around the world including the US, the UK, Bahrain, and Indonesia among others. Most recently, the Kingdom brought back citizens from Sudan and Tunisia, reported Al Arabiya.
The "Awdah" application process is started by visiting the "Absher" (www.absher.sa). online services platform, selecting the "Awdah" icon, filling in the required information, including the residence visa number, date of birth, mobile number, city of departure and airport of arrival.
