Pakistan reports over 100 Covid-19 deaths for third straight day

Pakistan on Thursday reported 118 coronavirus fatalities during the last 24 hours, more than 100 deaths for the third straight day.
A day earlier, the country had reported 135 deaths, the highest number of deaths reported since June 2020 and the highest so far this year, reports the Dawn.
According to the health ministry, 64,685 tests were conducted during the last 24 hours after which 5,395 people tested positive.

Punjab recorded the most deaths during the last 24 hours at 68 followed by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with 29.
