As the Covid-19 cases are on the rise in the country, this tranche of PPE would enable health professionals to provide treatment without getting infected

The country's one of the largest business conglomerates TK Group provided 700 pieces of personal protective equipment (PPEs) for doctors of Chattogram General Hospital and the Holy Crescent Corona Specialised Hospital.

The company is also importing 20 ventilators for these two hospitals which will be given by mid June, said a media statement on Tuesday.

From the corporate social responsibility, TK Group Managing Director Mohammad Abul Kalam took these initiatives.

Company Brand Manager Ashraful Hussain handed over the PPEs to the hospitals.

As the Covid-19 cases are on the rise in the country, this tranche of PPE would enable health professionals to provide treatment without getting infected, the press statement claimed.

During this global pandemic, Bangladesh urgently needs to ensure the safety and protection of frontline health professionals. From this point of view, TK group has taken the initiative of providing ventilator for these two hospitals.

As a leading corporate entity, TK group always plays a vital role during all crises of the country.
