Testing should be enhanced to prevent Covid-19: GM Quader
He said Covid-19 should also be treated in private hospitals
Jatiya Party Chairman GM Quader on Saturday emphasised increasing the number of tests to prevent the spread of coronavirus in Bangladesh.
In a press release, he said, every household should have access to tests whenever they need.
He also said that by increasing the number of tests, it will be possible to understand at what stage the coronavirus is in and it will be possible to take action accordingly.

The Jatiya Party chairman further said Covid-19 units have to be set up up in all the government hospitals of the country so that people of remote areas can get the healthcare services as well.
He said coronavirus treatment should also be ensured in private hospitals. Private hospitals have to be forced to deal with the virus, by law if necessary.
"We do not just have to think about lockdown, we also have to think about the lives and livelihoods of the poor people," GM Quader said.
He distributed Eid gifts among 1,000 low-income people on Saturday afternoon at the Mahuttuli Government Primary School field at Armanitola, old Dhaka, the press release adds.
