Samabaya Bank vice chairman dies from Covid-19

Chowdhury Md Afzal Hossen Nisar, the 57-year-old central vice chairman of Bangladesh Samabaya Bank Ltd, died from Covid-19 on Friday night. 

He was undergoing treatment at the capital's Square Hospital, his son Tanvir Chowdhury told The Business Standard. 

Afzal Hossen's coronavirus test results came negative on July 2. But in another test on July 7, he was tested positive. 

Afzal Hossen was also the agricultural affairs secretary of Brahmanbaria district Awami League.
