The administration kept the youth’s family in quarantine after his death

A youth died on Saturday morning in Moulvibazar's Rajnagar upazila from fever and shortness of breath, both of which are early symptoms of the novel coronavirus.

The administration kept the youth's family in quarantine after his death.

"We heard that the youth had symptoms of coronavirus after his death. We talked to his family and neighbours regarding this. But they gave conflicting information about his death," Rajnagar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (in-charge) Urmi Ray told The Business Standard.

"Some said he died of a stroke while others said he had a cold, fever and shortness of breath. We don't think he died of coronavirus. But just to be sure, we have collected his samples for a coronavirus test and we have kept his family under quarantine until we get the results," she added.
