Modele Group announces Tk5cr fund to fight Covid-19

Modele Group, a leading garment manufacturer and exporter in the country has announced a fund of Tk5 crores to prevent the spread of coronavirus outbreak in the country.
The group took various initiatives to ensure public security, food and health safety especially for the people of Narayanganj, said a press release today.
Masuduzzaman, founding Managing Director of Modele Group said, Narayanganj has been marked as the largest hotspot in terms of spreading Codid-19 meantime. With the highest mercy of almighty Allah, life of people can be saved by creating a regional safety net along with the government initiatives taken by the Prime Minister Shaikh Hasina.
The fund will be used in four tiers including Tk40 lakh for public awareness and hygiene programmes. Tk1.5 crores for food support programmes. Tk1.5 crores for medical protection program and Tk1.58 crores for financial aid program.
