Mentioning Hydroxychloroquine as an essential medicine to treat Covid-19 patients, Malaysian Foreign Minister Hishammuddin Hussein has requested his Bangladesh counterpart Abdul Momen to withdraw the ban of exporting the medicine.

In a letter to Abdul Momen, Hishammuddin Hussein said his government is helping all the Bangladeshis living there to tackle the situation created by coronavirus and working closely with the Bangladeshi High Commission there.

He thanked Abdul Momen to help taking back the Malaysian citizens to their country and emphasized importance to work jointly to face the present situation, says a press release from Foreign Ministry.
