Hamdard Laboratories (Wakf) Bangladesh has contributed Tk. 25 lakh in Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's relief fund to help the poor in this critical situation caused by coronavirus.

Hamdard Laboratories (Wakf) Bangladesh's Chairman Kazi Golam Rahman and Managing Director and Founder of Hamdard University Bangladesh D Hakim Md Yusuf Harun Bhiyan handed over the relief, says a press release by the organisation.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina joined from Ganabhaban and representatives of Hamdard and other organisations joined from Prime Minister's office in this meeting through video conference.

Principal Secretary Ahmad Kaikaus received the check of the donation on behalf of Prime Minister.

Apart from contributing in Prime Minister's fund, Hamdard is donating food and daily essentials among the poor across the country and providing free treatment.
