Md Abul Kashem Azad, deputy director of the Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE) of Bogura has died of Covid-19.
He breathed his last at around 11:15 am while undergoing treatment at Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.
Agriculture Minister Dr Abdur Razzak, MP and Agriculture Secretary Nasiruzzaman has expressed their deep condolences at the demise of the deputy director.
He left behind his wife and two sons.
