Covid-19: REHAB starts providing meals to its workers

As the construction work is completely stopped due to Covid-19, the workers involved in this industry on a daily basis have become unemployed

The Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB) has started providing one lakh meals to the security guards and workers in the under construction projects.

REHAB President Alamgir Shamsul AL Amin Kajal on Monday inaugurated the food aid programme.

At the time, REHAB President Alamgir Shamsul Alamin Kajal said as the construction work is completely stopped due to Covid-19, the workers involved in this industry on a daily basis have become unemployed.

"We have initiated the aid programme, thinking of the workers' situation during the shutdown."

REHAB's First Vice president Liaqat Ali Bhuiyan, Vice President Kamal Mahmud, Vice President (Finance) Md Shohel Rana, were, among others, present at the programme.
