Coronavirus infected Bhola judge airlifted to Dhaka for better treatment

Bhola District and Sessions Judge ABM Mahmudul Haque, who has been infected with Covid-19, is being airlifted to Dhaka by an air force helicopter following the deterioration of his health condition.

The Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Anisul Haque arranged to bring him to Dhaka immediately after being informed about his illness, said the ministry's Public Relation Officer Md Rezaul Karim.

The district judge was receiving treatment for the novel coronavirus at his residence as he was suffering from the viral disease since June 12.

The judge will be admitted to the Universal Medical College Hospital in the capital.
