Chattogram district council chairman tests Covid-19 positive

Chairman of Chattogram District Council and President of Chattogram north Awami League, MA Salam, has been infected with the novel coronavirus. 

He is currently undergoing treatment at Chattogram Medical College Hospital. 

Salam was admitted there on Thursday with Covid-19 symptoms.

Assistant Director of the hospital, Dr Aftabul Islam, said, "The district council chairman had given his samples for coronavirus test before he was admitted on June 25." 

"He was later informed that he tested positive."
