Bangladeshi dies from coronavirus in South Africa
The deceased was the only Bangladeshi in South Africa to be infected with the novel coronavirus
The first Bangladeshi coronavirus patient in South Africa died while undergoing treatment.
The deceased Emran Hossain Munna, who lived in Cape Town, was suffering from fever, cough and cold.
On the April 13 afternoon, Emran had tested positive for coronavirus. However, he also had diabetes, blood pressure and other diseases.
Emran, 30, died at a Cape Town hospital at 3 am on Friday. He was the only Bangladeshi in South Africa to be infected with the novel coronavirus.
Emran was from Sylhet's Bhadeshwar union of Golapganj upazila.
