The Deputy Director General (programme) of the country's oldest electronic mass media - Bangladesh Betar, and his wife have been infected with the novel coronavirus.
The Deputy Director General, Salahuddin Ahmed, is the senior most officer of Bangladesh Betar's programme division and a BCS (information) cadre of the ninth batch.
On June 12, they gave samples for coronavirus testing and the results came positive today, read a press release.
However, he is mentally and physically healthy and currently in isolation at home.
