Dr ABM Siddiqul Islam was a student of Mymensingh Medical College.

A member of the Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA) and president of BMA Jhenaidah branch, Dr ABM Siddiqul Islam (retired) has died of coronavirus.

He died at the Popular Medical College Hospital in the capital on Thursday at around 7pm due coronavirus infection, says a BMA press release.

He was 70 years old at the time of his death and left behind many admirers.

Dr ABM Siddiqul Islam was a student of Mymensingh Medical College.

With this, 79 doctors have died of Covid-19 in the country, according to the BMA press release.
