Professor KM Muntakim Chowdhury breathed his last at 11am today

A retired physician of department of physiology in Sir Salimullah Medical College has died of coronavirus on Saturday.

Professor KM Muntakim Chowdhury breathed his last at 11 am today in the capital's Rushmono Specialized Hospital, says a Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA) press release.

Professor KM Muntakim was a student of Dhaka Medical College.

The deceased left behind his wife and four sons.

With this, 60 doctors have died of Covid-19 in the country.
