9 fined for not wearing masks, defying social distancing rules in Bogura

A mobile court in Bogura's Nandigram upazila has fined nine people Tk2,200 for not wearing face masks in public and not maintaining social distance on Sunday.

Judge of mobile court and Nandigram Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Sharmin Akhter said, "Three youths were fined at noon as they did not wear a mask while six others were fined for coming to Eid shopping with children."

They all were instructed to strictly follow health instructions and maintain social distancing to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
