A survey finds that 84% of people in the country are willing to take vaccines against Covid-19.

However, all of them are not prepared to receive their shots right now. 32% are ready to take it at this moment while the remaining 52% prefer a delay to have their doses after observing things regarding inoculations.

In addition, 55% people are suspicious about the effectiveness of vaccines while 34% doubt about side effects.

On the other hand, lower class people are willing to be vaccinated if it is provided free. But the upper class in society are more interested in taking vaccines in exchange for money.

The Institute of Health Economics (IHE) at Dhaka University and Bangladesh Como Modeling Team jointly ran the survey on people's attitude toward Covid-19 vaccines between 10 and 25 January. Some 3,560 people from 16 upazilas of eight divisions and two city corporations of Dhaka city participated in the survey.
