5 die of Covid-19 in Khulna

Five people died from Covid-19 in Khulna in the last 24 hours.

Among the deceased one was a frontline health worker Md Babor Ali, radiology technologist of Khulna Medical College Hospital.

The others are Somor Das, 67, from Dolkhola area of the city; Anwara Begum, 85, from Zugnipasha village of Fultola upazila; Abdul Halim, 50, from Shantidham intersection of the city and Anisur Rahman, from Babu Khan Road of Khula city.

Among the deceased three died at the designated Covid-19 hospital of Khulna, one died while transporting to Dhaka and the other died at home, said Dr Sheikh Farid Uddin Ahmed, spokesperson of the designated Covid-19 hospital of Khulna.
