3 more diagnosed with coronavirus in Chattogram
The infected patients are residents of Halisahar, Sitakunda and Sagorika areas
Three patients have been diagnosed with coronavirus in Chattogram on Wednesday.
"We tested samples of 60 suspected patients on Wednesday. Among them, results of three samples came positive," Chattogram Divisional health services Director Dr Hasan Shahriar Kabir told The Business Standard.
The infected patients are residents of Halisahar, Sitakunda and Sagorika areas.
The port city reported its first coronavirus patient, a 67-year old elderly, on April 3 amid a countrywide shutdown to curb the spread of the virus.
Two days later, his 25-year old son was also tested positive with the virus.
So far 20 people have died from the virus in Bangladesh and 218 are infected with it.
