The rate of recovery from Covid-19 is increasing among the police members for the improved and quality treatment in hospitals monitored by Bangladesh Police, according to a press release issued Monday.

So far (until June 01), 15 police members have died after being affected by Covid-19 since the outbreak in the country. The Bangladesh Police is continuously working by turning the grief of losing their colleagues into strength.

Different preventive measures to battle coronavirus have been adopted following the directives of Dr Benazir Ahmed, inspector general of police.

To ensure the best treatment of police members, private hospitals were rented and sufficient additional equipment was added.

So, the number of infected police members is reducing and they are recovering faster, adds the press release.
