2 more KMCH doctors tested positive with coronavirus

With this, three doctors of the hospital have been tested positive with the virus so far

Two doctors of Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMCH) have been tested positive with the novel coronavirus. 

One of the infected doctors worked at the Gastrolever department of KMCH while the other doctor worked at the paediatrics department. 

With this, three doctors of the hospital have been tested positive with the virus so far.

Principle of the Khulna Medical College Dr Abul Ahad said, "We tested samples of 201 suspected patients in our lab on Sunday. Only two of them came positive."

The doctors are currently undergoing treatment at the KMCH guest house. But they will soon be transferred to Khulna Diabetic Hospital, which is the dedicated hospital for coronavirus patients in the city.

Earlier on Saturday, another doctor of the Urology department of the hospital was tested positive. 

KMCH tested 828 samples since April 7. Among those, 7 came positive. 

Bangladesh today confirmed seven more deaths from the novel coronavirus and 312 new cases of infection after testing 2,634 samples in the last 24 hours.

With this, the death toll from the deadly virus rises to 91 and the number of total infected person stands at 2,456.
