A Bangladeshi doctor died of Covid-19 in Connecticut of the United States on Friday.

The deceased was identified as Dr Mustafizur Rahman, 68.

Dr Mustafizur Rahman breathed his last in Hartford Hospital of Connecticut while undergoing treatment after being infected with Covid-19, according to local Bangladeshi community leaders in the US.

He left behind his wife Lulu Rahman, son Raeed, relatives and many admirers.

Dr Mustafizur Rahman worked at Hartford Hospital and Safa Medical Center in East Hartford of Connecticut. He held an MRCP degree from London and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the US.
