Walton targets big sale of home appliances this winter

Targeting the domestic market demand, the country's electronic giant Walton has displayed around 200 models of home appliances in its outlets across the country in this winter.

The wide-range of product line includes — washing machine, room heater, geyser or water heater, oven, electric kettle, rice cooker, blender and juicer, induction cooker, electric lunch box, hairdryer, trimmer, shaver and many others.

Ahead of this winter, the company set a target of grabbing a big portion of market share of home appliances, said a media statement.

Janesar Ali, product manager of Walton Home Appliances, said all the Walton Plazas and distributors' showrooms across the country have been showcasing and selling a wide range of products to meet the company's sales target this winter.

The move will facilitate the purchase of myriad products by the customers from a single showroom, added the product manager.

To lure customers into making purchase, the company has also offered various customer benefits as part of its nationwide ongoing Digital Campaign Season 8, he said.

Under this campaign, buyers of Walton washing machine and microwave oven are enjoying the benefits of getting free appliances like refrigerator, television, air conditioner or sure cash vouchers.

Over the last few years, Walton witnessed a surge in both demands and sales of its washing machines in the domestic market, the media statement claimed.

The availability of world-class product at affordable rates is the reason behind the growth of its demand and sale.

Apart from Nepal, Yemen, East Timor and some other countries, Walton also started exporting its locally finished washing machines to the neighbouring Indian market.
