UIU-FBHRO national human resources convention held virtually

The national convention in the field of human resources ended on Saturday. This year's convention titled "UIU-FBHRO 3rd National HR e-Convention – 2020" was held virtually.

According to a press release issued by United International University (UIU), the three-day conference began with an opening ceremony on 12 November at 6:30pm on Thursday. The entire program was conducted online using the Zoom platform.

Farhad Hossain, state minister for public administration, was the chief guest at the inaugural session of the convention.

He said, "We need to prepare our human resources with new skills to meet future challenges."

Laila Nascimento, CEO, Grupo Capacitor, Brazil and Professor Dr Chowdhury Mofizur Rahman, vice chancellor, UIU, attended the inaugural session as the special guests.

Professor Moinuddin Chowdhury, founding president and CEO of Society for Leadership Skills Development was present as the convention chair, while Professor HR Joarder, director, Institute of Business and Economic Research, UIU, was the secretary of the convention.

The e-conference was attended by Md Mosharraf Hossain, founding president of Federation of Bangladesh Human Resource Organizations (FBHRO), Professor Dr Farid A Sobhani, director of MBA and MIHRM of UIU and secretary general of FBHRO, and many others.
