Robi Axiata Limited, the country's second-largest telecommunication company, has posted 106% growth in net profit in the January to March quarter this year compared to the same time in the previous year.

Following the growth, the company declared a 3% cash dividend to the shareholders. To receive the dividend shareholders need to keep the shares until the record date set on 2 May.

During this period, its net profit stood at 36 crore and earnings per share of Tk0.07.

The company got listed on both stock exchanges in 2020.

But it did not pay any dividend to the shareholders for the 2020 financial year.
