Teesta Solar signs contract with Confidence Infrastructure

Managing Director of Teesta Solar M Rafiqul Islam, and Managing Director of Confidence Infrastructure Salman Karim signed the contract on behalf of their respective companies

Teesta Solar Limited, a subsidiary of Beximco Power Company Limited, has awarded Confidence Infrastructure Limited Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC), the work for 35.35km long 132KV double circuit transmission line associated with a 200MW (AC) utility scale solar PV plant from Sundarganj, Gaibandha to Rangpur Grid Substation in Rangpur.

To this respect an agreement signing ceremony was held at the   corporate office of Teesta Solar Limited in the capital on Thursday, said a press statement.

Managing Director of Teesta Solar M Rafiqul Islam, and Managing Director of Confidence Infrastructure Salman Karim signed the contract on behalf of their respective companies.

High officials from both the companies and Beximco Group were also present at the event.

This agreement is an achievement for both the companies as it is one of the key milestones in developing the country's largest Grid Tied Solar Power plant, the press statement claimed.
