Pathao businesses have recovered to pre-pandemic levels: Statement

In a media statement released on Saturday, Pathao said that their businesses have recovered to pre-pandemic levels.

Pathao said that this recovery is driven by increased digital adoption from its growing user base.

During this recovery they transformed their business by moving towards sustainability and focusing on user experience, added Pathao.

They said that they improved their market leadership position while operating with a positive margin in each of its verticals: ride-sharing, food delivery, and e-commerce logistics.

Pathao also added that during the past year they have also accelerated their path to developing the country's largest digital platform, by leveraging its product and technology excellence to launch several new services: grocery & essentials, e-commerce, health, entertainment, and games.

Stating its contribution in bringing in foreign direct investment to Bangladesh's tech ecosystem, Pathao stated that they look forward to introducing new services that have already attracted strong interest from global investors and will facilitate Bangladesh's digital transformation
