Synesis IT recives WITSA Global ICT award

Synesis IT received the international award in the “Covid-19 Tech Solutions for Cities and Localities” category on November 19
Synesis IT Limited has received the WITSA Global ICT award at the WITSA Award Celebration 2020 organized by Bangladesh Computer Society (BCS).
 
Synesis IT received the international award in the "Covid-19 Tech Solutions for Cities and Localities" category on November 19, said a press release issued by Synesis IT on Monday.
 
Zunaid Ahmed Palak, State Minister for ICT, was present as the chief guest on the occasion. 
 
N M Zeaul Alam, Senior Secretary at ICT, was present as the special guest.
 
Parthapratim Deb, Executive Director, Bangladesh Computer Council, and Yvonne Chiu, Chairman Emeritus, WITSA were present as the guest of honor.
 
Shohorab Ahmed Chowdhury, Managing Director of Synesis IT, received the award on behalf of the organisation.
 
Synesis IT Limited has received this honor for conducting various service activities for Coronavirus patients through the Covid-19 Telehealth Center, Telemedicine service, Ambulance service, Shastho Batayon, Ma-telehealth Center, during the Coronavirus pandemic.
 
Shohorab Ahmed Chowdhury, Managing Director, Synesis IT, said, "Covid-19 Telehealth Center provides services to Corona patients through coordination between doctors, hospitals, pharmacies and local government institutions. Synesis IT would like to thank WITSA for this recognition on behalf of a2i, ICT Division, The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, BASIS and also the Bangladesh Computer Society for organizing such an event that will inspire us to do better in the future."
 
Synesis Health's CEO and public health expert Dr Nizam Uddin Ahmed said, "Covid-19 Telehealth Center is a humanitarian service. During this pandemic when it became almost impossible to get the services of doctors directly, the telehealth center has provided relentless services to the people. Thanks to a2i, ICT Division, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and BASIS for launching the telehealth center very quickly. This recognition is the result of everyone's relentless hard work".
 
Synesis IT's Vice Chairman, Md Harun-ur-Rashid, Director of Synesis IT Abdur Rashid and Senior Manager and Team Leader of Marketing and Product Innovation, Qazi Abdullah Al Mamun was also present during the event.
