Sheikh Kabir reelected CDBL chairman, Nurul Fazal vice-chairman

Sheikh Kabir Hossain and AKM Nurul Fazal Bulbul have been reelected chairman and vice-chairman respectively of Central Depository Bangladesh Limited (CDBL).

They have secured the posts for the next two years at the board meeting followed by its Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on 20 December, read a press release recently.

Earlier a significant number of shareholders joined over zoom cloud video for the 20th AGM presided over by its Chairman Sheikh Kabir Hossain. 

The meeting also approved a 15% cash dividend for the shareholders, according to the press statement.

CDBL Directors AKM Nurul Fazal Bulbul, Salman F Rahman, Syed Manzur Elahi, Tapan Chowdhury, Azam J Chowdhury, Md Eunusur Rahman, Asif Ibrahim, Syed Shahriyar Ahsan, Md Abul Hossain, Sajjad Hussain, Md Ataur Rahman Prodhan, AKM Shamsuddin and Managing Director & CEO Shuvra Kanti Choudhury also attended the AGM.
