Rupali Bank pays homage to Bangabandhu on Independence day

The state-owned bank paid homage by placing a wreath at the portrait of the Father of the Nation at the Bank's head office in the capital on 26 March

Rupali Bank Limited paid rich tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on the occasion of the golden jubilee of Independence and National Day 2021.

Led by the managing director and CEO Md Obaidullah Al Masood, the state-owned bank paid homage by placing a wreath at the portrait of the Father of the Nation at the Bank's head office in the capital on Friday (26 March).

"Bangladesh, and Bangabandhu and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina are complementary to each other in every part of the country," Md Obaidullah said adding, "Bangabandhu is Bangladesh and Bangladesh is Bangabandhu."

The bank's Deputy Managing Directors Khandaker Ataur Rahman and Mohammad Jahangir were present at the occasion. Among others, General Managers of Rupali Bank Wahida Begum, Md Shawkat Ali Khan, Salma Banu, Abul Khair, Yasmin Begum, all the Deputy General Managers, other officials and employees of the bank were present.

Rupali Bank's Employees Union (CBA), Swadhinata Bankers Parishad and Bangabandhu Parishad also paid homage to the portrait of the Father of the Nation.
