“Bangabandhu is the beacon of inspiration for the oppressed and exploited people in the world”

The Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB) has celebrated the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Children's Day through cheerful events on Wednesday.

On the occasion, REHAB arranged Quran recitation, doa-mahfil, and food distribution among orphans at Hotel Sundarban in the capital. The organization also cut a cake to celebrate Bangabandhu's birthday.

REHAB President, Alamgir Shamsul Alamin (Kajol), mentioned the movements and struggles of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. He said, "Due to his deep political wisdom, self-sacrifice and extraordinary affection for the people, Bangabandhu became the undisputed leader of the Bengali nation."

"Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman is our eternal source of inspiration. His deeds and ideals will live among us forever" he added.

The event was attended by the Director of the Board of Directors of REHAB and a large number of representatives of REHAB's member organizations.

Kamal Mahmud, vice president of REHAB, said, "Bangabandhu is ur symbol of freedom, he is the beacon of inspiration for the oppressed and exploited people in the world." He called for building the country with Bangabandhu's ideals in mind.
