The Peninsula Chittagong receives Corporate Governance Excellence Award

Peninsula won the bronze medal

The Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) has given the Corporate Governance Excellence Award to The Peninsula Chittagong Limited.

On Saturday evening, a total of 35 listed companies were awarded by the company at the Grand Ballroom of Hotel Radisson Blu Water Garden in Dhaka.

Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi was present as the chief guest at the award ceremony.

Gold, silver and bronze medals have been awarded for good governance in 13 categories listed on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) as per corporate good governance standards. Peninsula won the bronze medal.

Chairman Mahboob-Ur-Rahman and Company Secretary Mohammad Nurul Azim received the award on behalf of Peninsula.

Besides, as the special guest, Chairman of Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC)  Shibli Rubayat-Ul-Islam and Commerce Secretary Zafar Uddin, along with others were also present.
