Orkin starts operation in Bangladesh
Orkin currently provides services to 2 million customers globally in more than 60 countries
Atlanta based pest control company, Orkin started its operations in Bangladesh. It is the the first global pest control firm in the country.
Acorp Limited, the local franchise owner, announced its footstep into Bangladesh through a launching ceremony on December 12, held at Ikebana Hall, Lakeshore Hotel in capital's Gulshan.
Honorable State Minister for Local Government & Rural Development, Swapan Bhattacharjee, MP presided over the program.
"Right now, we are on the highway of steady economic development. With the continuous upward tendency of this growth, it is high time to facilitate sectors like effective pest control. Bangladesh's government is also willing to come forward with the plight of creating a comfortable space in this regard. I hope Orkin will show live up to its great potential," said the minister, hailing the initiative.
Orkin currently provides services to 2 million customers globally in more than 60 countries. This includes India, Pakistan, Mongolia, Indonesia, Cambodia, South Korea, China and Guam in the Asia Pacific region.
