NRBC Bank directors extend financial aid to the destitute

The directors of NRBC Bank Ltd have stood beside the destitute people of the society, marking the festival of Eid-ul-Fitr.  

A total of Tk50 lakh was distributed among some 2500 families - Tk 2500 per family - on behalf of the directors. This amount of money was disbursed to the accounts of the destitute people, read a press release. 

A bank account was opened in the name of the head of the family against their national identity card in the rural branch of the bank. 

The directors of are Parvez Tamal, Abu Bakr Chowdhury, Mohammed Nazim, AKM Mostafizur Rahman, Abu Mohammad Saidur Rahman, Rafikul Islam Mia Arzoo, Mohammed Adnan Imam, Loquit Ullah and Mohammed Oliur Rahman. 

Regarding the initiative, the chairman of the bank, SM Parvez Tamal, said marginal people have been affected most critically by the Coronavirus pandemic. 

"We have taken this measure to make these marginal and destitute people happy. We have disbursed the money through bank account so that we can ensure transparency," he said, adding that the NRBC Bank is ever committed to developping the standard of life of marginal people.
