MetLife to provide insurance coverage to IPDC employees

Group life insurance enables employers to provide tailored solutions to their employees in financially supporting them against death, accident or disabilities

MetLife Bangladesh and IPDC Finance Limited have recently signed an agreement through which MetLife Bangladesh will provide group life and medical insurance coverage to more than 580 employees of IPDC.
 
Group life insurance enables employers to provide tailored solutions to their employees in financially supporting them against death, accident or disabilities, said a media statement issued by MetLife Bangladesh on Saturday.

More than 800 organisations in different sectors including financial institutions, take advantage of MetLife's longstanding experience of providing customised, world-class insurance products and services. As the leading life insurance company in Bangladesh, MetLife also serves over 1 million individual customers. 
 
Established in 1981, IPDC is the first private sector financial institution in the country. It is also regarded as one of the best financial institutions in Bangladesh with market capitalisation of Tk10.3 billion.
 
Ala Ahmad, general manager of MetLife Bangladesh and Mominul Islam, Managing Director and CEO at IPDC, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations. 

Other senior officials from both the organisations were also present on the occasion. 
 
Commenting on this agreement, Ala Ahmad said, "At MetLife, we are committed to providing world-class product and services to our customers. we are proud that one of Bangladesh's most reputed financial institutions – IPDC has chosen MetLife to provide financial protection to their employees."

As a responsible financial institution, we want to ensure that our employees get the best financial protection services so that together we can achieve our full potential in life."
