Meghna Insurance provides 10,000 masks to police as gift

The company has been cooperating with the frontlines since the beginning of the ongoing Covid-19 situation

Meghna Insurance Company Limited has distributed 10,000 masks among the members of police force as gifts.

CEO of the company Mohammad Abu Bakar Siddique handed over 5,000 masks to Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Dhaka Range Police Habibur Rahman, said a press release.  

In addition, another 5,000 masks were handed over to Dr Mohammad Monwar Hasanat Khan, superintendent of Central Police Hospital.

Chairperson of the company Sabrina Rahman said Meghna Insurance has been cooperating with the frontlines since the beginning of the ongoing Covid-19 situation.

"The organisation has come forward on its own initiative to help front-line fighters like journalists and the police force out of social responsibility," the chairperson added.
