JAAGO Foundation and Volunteer for Bangladesh on Thursday hosted a campaign titled- "Apnar Mask Kothay? (Where is your mask?)" to inspire people to wear masks and wear them properly.

Around 6,000 volunteers from eight divisions participated in raising mass awareness by taking to the streets with support from Beximco Pharmaceuticals, said a press release.

The volunteers discussed the ongoing coronavirus situation and made people aware of the importance of using masks to reduce the spread of Covid-19.

Bangladesh National Team Cricketer, Taskin Ahmed, inaugurated the campaign at Gulshan. He remarked that this campaign has come at a very crucial moment in the pandemic.
Korvi Rakshand, the Founder and Executive Director of JAAGO Foundation said, "While people do use hand sanitizers, they are reluctant to wear masks for lack of habit and being unaware of their importance. Through this mask campaign, we tried to encourage our people all around the country to wear masks properly."

The campaign took place in Dhanmondi, Banani, Mirpur, Agargaon, Motijheel and Gulshan area of the capital.
