IPDC launches online show ‘Ogroj’

The show is a walkthrough of the lives of prominent personalities behind reshaping Bangladesh since post -independence era

IPDC Finance Limited has recently launched an online show titled "OGROJ",  to celebrate the journeys of successful individuals who have made a mark in their respective fields through their perseverance and strong sense of purpose.

Broadcasted live from the official IPDC Facebook page, every first and third Thursday of the month,  the episodes shall reminisce both the professional and personal peaks and valleys of the guests' lives, with eminent host, Anis A Khan, renowned banker who retired a few months back after serving the industry for nearly four decades.

Distinguished icons from diverse sectors such as finance, business, art, culture, education and media, will be seen flipping through the pages of their lives on the show.  

The first episode was broadcasted on 30 July 2020, with Md Matiul Islam, who took charge as the Finance Secretary at the inception of an independent Bangladesh as the guest.

Speaking about the show, IPDC Managing Director and CEO Mominul Islam said: "Through OGROJ, IPDC intends to initiate a digital memoir on the narratives of these protagonists from post-independent Bangladesh. IPDC takes immense pride in associating itself with these individuals and looks forward to creating a dialogue about their accounts and inspire the audience."

New episodes of the show will be broadcasted on the first and third Thursday of each month at 8 pm.

The recorded versions of live show will be available on the IPDC Facebook Page, and IPDC Official YouTube channel.

A microsite entailing details, updates and the recorded shows is also in the making.
