Holister launches e-commerce app

Holister Private limited has launched a different type of e-commerce app with a view to providing goods services with a minimum price.

This app is similar to the app of AliBaba.com. Various goods services from wholesalers and retail sealers are available on this app with a minimum price, reads a press release.

Former state minister for foreign affairs Abul Hasan Chowdhury inaugurated the app at a city hotel on Friday evening while Joint Secretary of ICT Ministry Md Abdus Sattar Chowdhury was also present.

Abul Hasan Chowdhury said this is a very good mobile app where customers can directly contact the wholesalers. It will reduce the hassle of middlemen during a trade process.

Managing Director of Holister Private limited Zarif Rashid Ahmed Fuad said, "We have taken this initiative to create a marketplace in Bangladesh like Ali Baba."

This app is available on google play store a number of unique features, he added.
