Green Delta Insurance attained New Champion award at the "Pioneers of Change Summit 2020" by World Economic Forum (WEF) in the category of "excellence in sustainability". 

The Pioneers of Change summit (16-20 November) aims to explore the innovation needed to bounce back from the pandemic. Green Delta received the award on 16 November, said a press release. 

MD & CEO of Green Delta Insurance, Farzanah Chowdhury said, "We at GDIC have made sustainability an integral part of everything we do." 

"We are truly honoured to be recognised as a New Champion organization by WEF for excellence in sustainability," he added. 

The AMD & Company Secretary, Syed Moinuddin Ahmed said, "While we had to accept and adapt to the "new normal", we at GDIC perceived it as our prime responsibility to be adaptive while maintaining utmost caution and trying to get back to our regular daily lives for the sake of our people, economy and the country." 

"Motivated by the same belief, we at GDIC have maintained business as usual through massive digital transformation of our services and working format. Moreover, we have also continued our sustainable business footprint through different initiatives aimed at benefitting the marginal people," he added.
